About Kristina
Nashville based photographer, Kristina Krug has been shooting for advertising and editorial clients on location for over ten years.
Kristina is gifted in photographing everyday people, full of warmth and compassion. And though some of her portraits may often be honest and raw, they still reveal a sense of beauty and hope.
She received a degree in design and worked for two Chicago design firms, before spending eight years as a freelance art director in Chicago for advertising, editorial, and catalog clients. She began shooting for some of the same clients she worked for as a designer. Kristina then relocated to Nashville in the summer of 2000.
Her experience in print design, brand communications, and shoot production give her a unique vantage point, making her shoots a great experience for clients. She can visualize the final product, so her images are easy for art directors and designers to drop into layouts.
Kristina has a fully digital workflow, offers full production services (casting, locations, catering, etc.), and has a studio in downtown Nashville for local shoots.
She recently completed an intimate portrait series and social documentary about the lives of Women in Recovery from sexual abuse, prostitution, and chemical addiction.
