About

Kristina Krug has been shooting for advertising and editorial clients for over 10 years. She has a 2500 sf daylight studio minutes from downtown Nashville for local assignments and is available for location shoots worldwide.

Kristina is inspired by an insatiable desire to uncover individual and universal truths and capture them with her camera. Her unique perspective is full of compassion. And though her portraits may often be raw reality, they still seem to reveal a tangible sense of beauty and hope. She strives to create photographs that are honest, vivid, memorable, and timeless.

She occasionally shoots manual “analog” cameras – for the organic quality, color saturation, grain, tone, warmth, and detail that is eminent in film photography.

Kristina received a degree in design and worked for two Chicago design firms. She then spent eight years as a freelance art director in Chicago for advertising, editorial, and catalog clients, where she began shooting for some of the same clients she worked for as a designer. Kristina relocated to Nashville in 2000. Her experience in print design and branding give her a unique vantage point, making the process smooth for art directors and photo editors.

Kristina offers full production services and has a fully digital post-production workflow.
